Ballroom Dancing

September 15th, 2006

Yesterday evening, I started a course in Ballroom dancing with my girlfriend. It was great fun, a little crowded and warm but great fun. We learned basic steps of the “Quick-step”, very easy as we both did a course before but that was ages ago and with different partner so we decided to start from scratch. Next week we will learn the basic of the “Cha-Cha-Cha”.

Do all guys in the Netherlands take ballroom dancing? Men in the USA avoid dancing like the Bubonic Plague. Then again, I suppose I could get brownie points by taking my wife dancing. Shhh. Don’t tell her.

Can I link to your blog yet?

Not all some avoid it as the plague as well.
I have done it for 5 years from 14-19 with another girl, it is quite a lot of fun once you get passed the basics and it competely depends on the school you go too.
This one and the last one where very good, also on new music no mosart or bach to dance on.

I can say the avarage age in our class is around 25 I think.

You may link, it will make me work faster on the site. ;)
