I have returned the keys from my previous home and the new place is home. Hopefully after time consuming task, the little tasks like unpacking the last things and finishing touches , I will have more free time todo coding and other fun things.

Finally, after several months searching for a good apartment, we got one.
It’s a nice souterrain apartment, luckily backyard is facing south, giving us a bright living room. We still have to wait until the first of may to get the keys but then we can start painting and start arguing about the merging of our furniture.
After commenting on our season in a previous blog post we had finally some snow today, it is February already and we are 4 months behind Brent but we had snow and that is what counts. At the time I’m writing this its already 6 degrees and the snow will be gone by tomorrow morning I so I can’t enjoy the view another day.
Back from Skiing vacation, Snow was good enough not perfect but then again we had perfect sunshine and it wasn’t cold. I was with five friends and another 954 students at Risoul and they can speak Dutch now. It was a lot of fun as most of my friends where “Debutant” so I was dedicated photographer for them and for my pleasure of course.
Apres Ski was just as fun with Jenga being number one game.

According to Sanne, but that wasn’t the last quote that went unnoticed, once I have found the piece of paper where all those quote where noted down I will post some more. Picture will be attached later as well.
Currently it should be winter, instead we have a temperature average of 8.9 degrees(Celsius) that is 6.1 degrees higher then normal average temperature for this month. I hate it, I rather have 2 degrees or lower. Giving us snow instead of rain that feels like autumn. Giving us a change to skate on natural ice after so many years?
Then again in 2 weeks time I will be up in the France Alps and fingers crossed there will be snow and freezing temperatures.
A little late but “Merry Christmas”, I had a nice 3 days of Christmas in “Friesland” with family and as good Christmas goes: good food, a lot of talking, catching up and playing conquer the world a.k.a. Risk.
A new game style was invented by in laws, called “emotion risk” or short “EmoRisk”. This happens when you loose 10:3(or worse) and started hitting every country you possibly can. Cleaning out the board and mostly making sure that the next round some one will go for the kill or his/her assignment. Which would lead to another game of Risk.
Last night I went to Cats the musical, It was very impressive but sometimes hard to hear what they were saying, but enough to follow the story line.
It was really fun to see all the blown out of proporsion stage, bike’s that were as large 2 meters (about 7 feet I think). Giving the impression that the actors were smaller. Sad thing is the actors are beautifully made looking like cats but they are too far away to see such detail. So here is a picture up close of a kitten and one of my girlfriend and the leading Cat of the story.
Well getting ready for graduation party of my girlfriend.
First we are going out to have a ncie diner and then 3 doors further we are going to have a party until 02:00 and we will see what we do after that. It’s going to be fun.

Casimir Fund
Is a fund to stimulate mobility of researchers and knowledge between knowledge institutions and business organizations. She applied for this funds as she is a PhD student at Radboud University of Nijmegen and works together with Organon on a study towards Stem Cell differentiation. She is 1 of 15 to receive this funds this year, and the youngest to receive it.
