Works great! Well, it does if you read the instructions carefully – I was getting really frustrated because I couldn’t get it to verify… until I actually both cleaned my site cache and purged the expired cache.

If it doesn’t work, remember to:
PASTE IN ONLY THE CODE (in red, above) and both
CLEAN your cache AND PURGE your expired cache before you try to verify.

Sorry to yell, – if I had seen someone yell it to me, I might have saved myself some time and frustration.

I really like your Delicious joomla module, I use it here http://www.doreymedia.com/index.php/make-contact/web-links . Just a couple of feature requests if you re-visit this module

1) could the urls have a rel=”nofollow” option?
2) where no icon is found for the link, could a default one be posted?

I tried this twice but failed to verify on google but i have seen the meta google verification on my homepage page source. due to afraid of being penalize on many i attempt i ended up on uploading on my site.through ftp

Plugin works just fine, THX!

For the people that didn’t get the plugin to work, here’s some additional advice:

ONLY if the Google code says “verify-v1″, set the plugin to “verify-v1″, otherwise leave it set to “google-site-verification”!

ONLY copy the actual CODE, WITHOUT the quotation marks or any html coding, into the content field.

Doing so made the plugin work instantly for me…

This sounds great but before i start I would like to know if the latest comments are correct?

Has Google change something, so the plug in doesn’t work anymore?
